
IEDC-CET shall promote and foster entrepreneurial culture in the college and will provide a platform for the students to pursue entrepreneurial activities.
It shall provide assistance to potential entrepreneurs of CET, conduct activities that develop entrepreneurial qualities in students and shall provide common facilities to students working on start-ups.
The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (IEDC) is an active student-run cell under CET Centre for Interdisciplinary Research (CCIR) that seeks to create and promote innovation and entrepreneurship skills among the students of CET. The cell works in close association with Kerala Startup Mission, CET –TBI and other student clubs. It envisions fostering innovative thinking and becoming a facilitator between the students inside the campus and the industry outside by acting as a hub of contacts and network that helps in finding the wannabe entrepreneurs the right people to approach for any task.

Amal C Shaji, Nanda Kishore V V, Basith Hameem and Rafsal Rahim of S6 MCA secured first prize in the TCS Blockchain Blockathon conducted on 5 th October 2018 at TCS Kochi Infopark.
Akshay Vijayan and Amal C Shaji secured first prize in the idea pitching session in the Start-up Yatra jointly organized by Kerala Startup Mission, Startup India, Invest India and Teresian Innovation and Business Incubation Centre (TIBIC) on 15 th November 2018 at St. Teresa’s College, Ernakulam, Kerala.
A team of students participated in the BAJA SAEINDIA competition held in Pune during August, 2018.
Five students (Team: Sango) led by Amith A M was selected as one among the 85 teams from 18 countries participating in the “The Anu & Naveen Jain Women’s Safety XPRIZE” competition.
