The second edition of the Shoshin series yet again completed gracefully,regarding the plan for starting a new venture. The students had a wonderful oppurtunity to be taught by Manoj A S on pursuing towards a new future.`
The future architects for a better world gathered together at the event "Shoshin". The attempt to revive the blooming minds by the art of machine learning by Prem Shankar c proved to be a great motivation conducted by IEDC on September 19,2019.
IEDC CET conducted its first event of the academic year,E-VOLVE and was a huge success with a turnout of around 200 students.The audience was addressed by the Principal Dr.Jiji C V,advisor Dr.K Sunil Kumar and other faculty.Mr.Anjith Krishna,CEO had an interactive session with the students and motivated them to explore their potential.The event ended with the introduction of the Executive Committee for the year 2019-20.
IEDC of College of Engineering, Trivandrum organized a three day event titled Edventure'19. The three day event was organized in collaboration with KSCSTE, Trest Park, Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) and CET Alumni Association (CETAA).

EDC CET hosted the “Ideation Workshop” on 20 th and 21 st February. The workshop was conducted by ICT Academy, partner to Kerala Start-up Mission. The entrepreneurship trainer for the event was Dr. Manoj A S, Senior Knowledge Officer at ICT Academy of Kerala.
A one day workshop on Machine Learning and Quantum Computing was conducted on 14 th January. The workshop was conducted in association with UST Global.
Hultprize 2017, a Clindon Global Initiative was conducted at CET on 21st December 2017.
Xamarin worksop was conducted to provide the students a hands on session on app development using Xamarin and Azure.
“Accelerate – The Start-up Talk” session was held in the campus on 7th April 2017. The event was initiated by Millionminds, as part of their "50 Cities-50 Talks" programme.
The start up expo was conducted by EDC-CET as a part of technical event, Drishti 2017, on the 17th, 18th and 19th of March 2017.
Hultprize, the global idea pitching competition held by Clinton Global Initiative made a grand debut in College of Engineering, Trivandrum on 19th November 2016.

An invited talk on “How to Start and Sustain a Business”, was organized by EDC/Bootcamp on 8 th February, 2016 at CET. The speaker was Mr. Thampy Kurian, Owner & Chairman, Renaissance Electronics Corporation, USA.
A talk on “Youth Dialogue on Visioning for India” by Young Indians Trivandrum in association with TBI was organized by EDC/Bootcamp on 15 th Oct 2015.
